Introduction

Anglo Eastern Ship Management aka AESM is a management company. Under its management, there are more than 700 vessels of all types which includes bulk carriers, containers, oil/chemical/gas tankers, RORO, passenger, etc. AESM has its own institute names as Anglo Easten Maritime Academy aka AEMA for training their cadets. The institute is situates in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Company Speciality

1. Stipend for Deck Cadet: 450$/month + overtime (avg. 150 $)
2. Sea-time Required: 18 months
3. Contract Duration: 1^st Ship- 6 months; 2^nd Ship- 6 months; 3^rd ship- 6 months;
4. Waiting period: 2/3 months for 1^st ship; No waiting for next 2.
5. Limited Internet. Internet connectivity depends on the owners.  
6. IMUmate’s Preference: No. 2

Eligibility Criteria

1. 12^th PCM % >= 70 %
2. 10^th or 12^th English % >= 60
3. Age before commencement of course <= 25
4. Valid Passport in-hand before course commencement
5. Vision Should be 6/6 without aids. Vision correction methods like Cantura Vision and LASIK is allowed.
6. Colour Blindness is not permitted.

Note:

• If 12^th result is obtained after improvement examination, the candidate must get more than or equal to 75% in PCM.

Eligibility for BSc. in Physics /Mathematic /Chemistry /Electronics with Physics.

2. Average percentage not less than 65% in final year
3. Passed 12^th grade with PCM aggregate not less than 65%

How to apply for DNS Sponsorship program?

Anglo Eastern Shipping company has entitled their institutes, i.e. AEMA’s management to manage the cadet recruitment and training. After the completion of pre-sea training, the cadet is allotted a vessel managed by AESM and also is in touch with the institute for their mentoring and distance learning program to get the degree of BSc. Applied Nautical Science.

AEMA’s forms are open round the year and can be filled from their official website (aema.edu.in).
There are two batches for which the selection procedure is conducted round the year.

1. August Batch: 160 Seats
2. February Batch: 120 Seats
