Eligibility Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Marine Engineering
o 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
o Minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM and 50% in English (in 10th or 12th). o Age: Below 25 years at the time of commencement.
o Fees: Approximately ₹9-10 lakhs for the full course.
o Vision either 6/12 in both eyes or 6/9 in better eye and 6/18 in weak eye.
• Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS)
o 10+2 with PCM or B.Sc. in Physics, Math, Chemistry, or Electronics. o Minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM and 50% in English.
o Age: Below 25 years.
o No color blindness, and vision should be 6/6 in both eyes (unaided). In the worst case, one eye can be 6/9, provided the other is 6/6.
o Fees: ₹4-5 lakhs
• Graduate Marine Engineer (GME)
o B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Naval Architecture.
o Minimum 50% aggregate in engineering and 50% in English.
o Fees: ₹5-6 lakhs for the entire course.
• Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)
o Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
o Minimum aggregate of 50% in English.
o Fees: ₹2-3 lakhs.
• B.Sc. in Nautical Science(BSC)
o 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM and 50% in English.
o Age Limit: 17 to 25 years at the time of commencement.

o Fees: Approximately ₹7-8 lakhs for the full course.

4. Medical Examination:
o All candidates must pass a medical fitness test according to Directorate General of Shipping guidelines from a DG approved doctor.
5. Final Selection:
o Based on merit, entrance exam(IMUCET) performance, interview and medical fitness, candidates are selected for admission.
