Unlike AESM & GECO , FML does not have their own institute for training their sponsored cadets. The are associated with various institutes like Tolani Maritime Institute, T.S. Rahaman, IMI & AMET for DNS Sponsored candidates 

Company Speciality

1. Stipend for Deck Cadet: 450$/month + overtime (avg. 150 $)
2. Sea-time Required: 18 months
3. Contract Duration: 1^st Ship- 9 months; 2^nd Ship- 9 months;
4. Waiting period: 2/3 months for 1^st ship; No waiting for next.
5. Limited Internet. Internet connectivity depends on the owners.

Eligibility Criteria

Fleet Management limited conducts their recruitment drive twice a year in association with various institutes like Tolan Maritime Institute, International Maritime Institute, T.S. Rahaman, AMET, etc.

The notice for the application is released on training.fleetship.com/internal-notice/ and is free of cost to register. There are two batches for which the selection procedure is very rapid and does not take more than seven days unlike AESM which takes almost 2 months to complete the procedure.

1. August Batch: 160+ Seats
2. February Batch: 80+ Seats 

If the seats are vacant the conduction of 1^st round, more rounds are conducted and the notice for the same is updated on the very same website, i.e. training.fleetship.com/internal-notice/

Selection Procedure 

After filling the form, if the pop-up, “Form Submitted Successfully” is displayed, the form is submitted successfully. The candidate must proceed to the chosen “Preferred institute” in the form on the date of the exam mentioned in the internal notice(training.fleetship.com/internal-notice/) of Fleet Management test.

After filling the form, if the pop-up, “Contact exists” is displayed, the form is not submitted. The candidate must refill the form with different email id and phone number until the pop-up “Form Submitted Successfully” is displayed in the end. There is no admit card necessary for the examination. Moreover, there is no confirmation from the college is needed too for the same. When one reaches the institute, they will find their name in the list if the form showed, “Form Submitted Successfully.”

The form does not reject the application even if a candidate is not fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the Fleet Management Limited. The documents (Aadhar Card, 10^th Marks Sheet & 12^th Marks Sheet) are checked as per the list in the institute and thus if any candidate in the list fails to comply with the eligibility criteria mentioned above will be sent back home. Therefore, one must make sure that they are eligible in the Fleet Management Limited before they go for the test in the chosen centre.

The selection procedure of AEMA comprises of three stages:

• Centre Bases Online MCQ Exam Round (In the Maritime Institute)
  50 MCQ on English, Aptitude, GK & PCM. (100 marks) (30 minutes) (Negative Marking = 0.5)
• Interview Round (In nearby Fleet Management Limited Office)
• Personal / Technical Interview Psychometric Round (In nearby Fleet Management Limited Office)
  1. Physical psychometric interview.
  2. MCQ Computer based psychometric.
